Case Study : Air to Air Re-fuelling / Air Transport

Spidre provided Systems Analysis support to an Air-to-Air re-fuelling project.

The solution provider comprises multiple major Contractors in a consortium, providing a solution under a PPP framework.

 

Spidre provided analysis of the system solution providing the following deliverables:

· A MODAF model focusing on the MOD to Consortium business and system interfaces

· Support to the security analysts

· Detailed analysis of the information exchanges and interoperability

· Demonstration of system compliance

· Detailed requirements analysis.

 

This unique project required careful analysis of the interoperability between the various contractors, the MoD and other existing systems. Spidre ensured that the data formats used between all of the systems complied with mandatory MoD regulations and remained interoperable.

 

Using the principle of risk flow-down, it was essential to ensure that the project requirements were assigned to the correct provider, a non trivial task due to the size of the project. Our analysis ensured that no requirement was missed in order to prevent long-term costs.
